This course is designed to provide an introduction to drawing, catering to both beginners and those looking to refine their skills. Through a structured curriculum, we will cover essential topics to help you develop a solid foundation in drawing.
We will delve into the fundamental techniques of starting a drawing, commonly known as blocking. Learn how to effectively measure proportions. Whether you're sketching a portrait or a still life, these techniques will be your foundation for creating well-proportioned and balanced drawings.
Learn the principles of shading, highlights, and shadows to add realism and dimension to your artwork.
We will guide you through the process of rendering your drawing, refining details, and adding those finishing touches that make your artwork stand out.
Class Policy:
Cancellation Policy: Drawn Studio reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule classes to adjust for enrollment. If Drawn Studio cancels a class, you may transfer to another class or receive a full refund.
Refund Policy: Notice of withdrawal from a workshop must be made at least 14 days prior to the start of the class. No refunds will be given for withdrawals made after that time. No refunds or credits will be given for classes missed due to illness, personal conflict, or other reasons. There are no exceptions to this policy. Please email ryangreis@gmail.com if you wish to withdraw from a workshop.
