Starting January 31st, you are invited to join us in celebration of Shaheed "The Jacka" Akbar's life.
Prepare to be teleported to the golden years of Bay Area Mobb Music: Cherry-red cutlasses. DAT Tapes. Cutting out the middle-man. CMC music video dubs. Selling tapes out the trunk.
Awaken your deepest senses and ground yourself in a moment of reflection: Prayer. Love. Penance. Death. Success. Remember the era that shaped Bay Area culture as we know it.
The exhibit will spark contemplation as one absorbs the scenery around them. Featuring: curated Jacka canvas art pieces from some of the Bay Area's greatest street artists, painters and beyond; a world debut photo collection of 30 pieces from Jacka's careerlong photographer @isawdray; an artistic display of Jacka's first car; a brand-new teaser of the upcoming Jacka documentary; unreleased Jacka music and brand new Jacka tribute songs.
