Public Track Days & Driver Training
Calder Park is one of the most iconic venues in Australian motorsport. With a long and storied racing history, the legendary National Circuit is now open for public track days and driver training—giving you the chance to drive where champions have raced.
We offer three ways to get on track at Calder Park, catering to all experience levels and vehicle types.
1. Test & Tune Days (Monthly)
Designed for serious track time in a focused, low-traffic environment.
Eligible Vehicles
- Log-booked race cars
- Unregistered track cars
- Road-registered cars
- Open-wheel race cars
Track Format
- Speed-graded groups based on estimated lap times
- Maximum of 15 cars per group
- Open-wheel vehicles run separately
- Safe, structured, and high-value track time
Sessions & Pricing
- $200 per day
- 6 × 15-minute sessions allocated per group
- Optional practice race starts (subject to demand)
- One-on-one race coaching available (additional cost)
- Motorsport Australia Observed Licence testing available (additional cost)
2. Calder Park Drive Days (Public Holidays)
Fun, social events with structured sessions and plenty of track time.

- Dedicated Performance Drive School group
Drive Day – Pricing & Sessions
- $250 per day
- 6 × 15-minute sessions allocated
- Speed-graded groups
- Maximum 15 cars on track per group
Performance Drive School
Perfect for drivers looking to improve skills, confidence, and lap times with professional coaching.
Pricing & Sessions
- $360 per day
- Minimum 5 × 25-minute sessions
- Pre-track classroom briefings
- In-car coaching included
- 50% coached driving / 50% solo driving
- Maximum 12 cars on track, ensuring ample space to practice
Licensing Requirements
All Calder Park events require a Motorsport Australia licence.
Don’t have one? We can issue an Introductory Licence for just $35—simply add it during booking.
Safety & Apparel Requirements
- Helmets, ankle-to-wrist clothing, and closed-toe shoes are the minimum apparel requirements for all participants.
