The DROPS Train the Trainer Course is a modular and flexible training package designed to raise awareness of dropped object prevention throughout the oil and gas industry and beyond.

The program is based upon DROPS Recommended Practice, best practice guidance, real experiences and shared learnings. The training; currently being delivered via MS Teams during COVID-19 restrictions, is suitable for all candidates involved in operations, equipment/plant and structural design, maintenance and inspection, task planning, logistics and transportation, and is particularly suitable for site safety representatives responsible for the development of personnel awareness.

Only DROPS representatives deliver the ‘DROPS Train-the-Trainer’ familiarization session, providing all the course materials in digital format such that candidates can cascade DROPS Awareness training throughout their respective organizations. The digital materials include a simplified Primer Level Awareness presentation to make it easier to start your campaign, along with a comprehensive free-to-use suite of digital supporting materials.
