Small Drupal projects have a math problem: each one demands its own codebase, hosting, updates, and security patches - overhead that eats whatever the project pays. That's why so many of us turn small work away. The multisite model changes the math: many sites run on one codebase, so you maintain once and every site benefits.
This hands-on session covers the full workflow. You'll stand up a codebase and multisite from an existing Site Template - no need to build your own foundation from scratch. Then we'll use Recipes to facilitate packaged functionality which varies from site-to-site without signing up for ongoing maintenance. Then we'll go over how maintenance and updates work across many sites, where this approach shines (and where it doesn't), and even discuss issues clients have faced with their multisite implementations. Finally, we'll discuss different tools to facilitate this work, and how you can do it yourself. Bring a laptop with DDEV and a Drupal 11 site installed.
