End-of-Harvest Gathering at Elk Run Farm

As the harvest season draws to a close, we invite you to join us for an afternoon of community, connection, and stewardship at Elk Run Farm.

Gather with us in the Forest Garden, DAR's living laboratory for perennial ecological stewardship, to lend a hand, hear updates on the work taking root at DAR, and experience the magic of this land before it settles into winter rest.

With the postponement of this year’s annual fundraiser, we’re embracing this opportunity to gather more intimately with our community, share updates on the work taking root at DAR, and celebrate the abundance of the season.

What to Expect: Seasonal volunteer activities may include harvesting and/and preparing the Forest Garden for winter. All ages and experience levels are welcome!

• 3–5 PM: Forest Garden volunteering & seasonal stewardship

• 5–6 PM: A casual hang on the patio with snacks, refreshments & updates from DAR.,

Details: DAR's volunteer days are child-friendly. Closed-toe shoes are required. Please bring a water bottle, and warm layers appropriate for the weather.
