4 Week Course | Beginner's Wheel Throwing (Wednesdays)

Learn how to throw pottery on a wheel at Dublin Pottery in our 4 Week Course!

Our 4 week course is designed for absolute beginners to learn how to throw pottery and at the end each person will have their own unique creations.

Guided by an expert instructor, the course focuses on the fundamentals of wheel throwing from mastering the basics of centering and shaping to trimming, finishing and how to glaze pieces.

No experience is needed, and over the course of 4 weeks participants will build their skills and leave with several pieces.

Pick between our Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday courses and make wheel throwing your weekly routine!

Pieces from the courses take several weeks to process and fire.

WHATS INCLUDED:

- Clay & Tools

- Full guided instruction from an expert ceramicist

- x3 pieces being fired and glazed in a glaze colour of your choice. Any additional pieces fired and glazed will be €5 extra.

Located in 3 Queen Street, Smithfield, Dublin 7.

Our 4 Week Courses are only for ages 18 and up, due to them being evening BYOB workshops.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that this is a beginners workshop, there is a possibility that your piece may not survive the kiln firing process. This is rare that it happens, but is a possibility that your piece may break.
