Sportsman’s Lunch ’27

An Afternoon with Andy Goode, Steve Bull & Jim Hamilton

Get ready for one of the biggest afternoons in the DK calendar as our Sportsman’s Lunch returns for 2027 – and this year we’re bringing you THREE fantastic sporting personalities!

Join us at Dudley Kingswinford RFC on Friday 4th June 2027 for an afternoon packed with sporting stories, plenty of laughs, great food and live entertainment.

Meet Our Sporting Legends:

🏉 Andy Goode & Jim Hamilton - Rugby International Stars

Two huge personalities from the world of rugby who certainly know how to entertain a room!

Former England international Andy Goode and former Scotland international and British & Irish Lion Jim Hamilton enjoyed outstanding careers at the very top of the game and have since become two of rugby’s most recognisable media personalities.

Expect hilarious behind-the-scenes stories, dressing-room tales, plenty of rugby banter and probably a few stories that shouldn’t leave the room! With these two together, there’s guaranteed to be plenty of laughs.

⚽ Steve Bull - England & Wolverhampton Wanderers Legend

A true Wolverhampton Wanderers legend and England international, “Bully” needs very little introduction around here. One of the most iconic figures in Wolves history, Steve will be sharing stories and memories from his incredible career, both at Molineux and on the international stage.

More Than Just a Lunch…

Doors open at 12 noon, before you settle in for a fantastic three-course lunch and an afternoon of entertainment with three sporting greats.

There’ll be stories from their playing days, dressing-room tales, laughs and plenty of sporting banter – plus the chance to hear what really went on behind the scenes throughout their careers.

The afternoon will also feature a Live Auction, Chase the Joker and Raffles, with plenty happening throughout the event.

Whether you’re a rugby fan, Wolves supporter, sports lover, or simply fancy a brilliant afternoon out with friends, this is one you won’t want to miss.

Three sporting legends. One room. Plenty of stories. And absolutely no guarantee they’ll agree on anything!
