Scottish Apprenticeship Week: Apprenticeship Insights - Business Session

As part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week, Dumfries & Galloway College and DYW Dumfries & Galloway are hosting an online information session for local employers.

This session is designed for businesses who want to understand how apprenticeships can support workforce development and future skills planning. It will provide a clear overview of the different apprenticeship routes available in Scotland, including Foundation Apprenticeships, Modern Apprenticeships and Graduate Apprenticeships.

The session will explain how each apprenticeship works, the key differences between the pathways, funding and employer commitments, and how apprenticeships can be used to attract new talent, upskill existing staff and build a sustainable workforce. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and find out what support if available to help you through the process.
