Nico's original compositions and innovative arrangements will surprise you with their interwoven, overlying melodies, made possible by the combination of fingerpicking and flat picking techniques.

About your ticket - why we're charging

Capacity is very limited for this exclusive gig, so we need to issue tickets to manage access to and from the Brewery site.

Free drink: While we're charging, you will receive a a pint of Belhaven Belter or soft drink on arrival, courtesy of Belhaven Brewery, which makes this as close to being free as Dunbar Music Festival can manage.

About the venue

The Monks Retreat is Belhaven Brewery's very own bar, located within Scotland's oldest brewery. Usually only open to people attending the Brewery Tour, this is an exclusive opportunity to enjoy Dunbar Music Festival while sampling Belhaven's award winning beers.

Terms and conditions

• The bar is open for ticket holders only, from 1:00pm until 5:00pm, with the musical performance happening between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.
• All attendees must be 16 or over. Ticket holders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• All ticket holders will be escorted between the brewery gates to the bar, and off site when leaving. This is a working brewery, so health and safety of all visitors is paramount.
• The ticket entitles the purchaser to one pint of Belhaven Belter Lager or a soft drink alternative while attending the Monks Music Session at The Dunbar Music Festival.
• Free beverage offer is valid from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday 26 September 2026. This ticket can only be used at The Monks Retreat at Belhaven Brewery and must be presented prior to payment.
• This offer cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount.
• Only one pint of Belhaven Belter or soft drink per person can be redeemed with each ticket, whilst stocks last. No cash alternative is offered. This offer is not transferable. Copied, forwarded or damaged tickets will not be accepted.
