Dunoon TradFest 2026 - Peat & Diesel Festival Concert

Dunoon Presents is delighted to welcome back the Dunoon TradFest music festival after its great success in 2025.  This annual event continues to go from strength to strength and brings a packed weekend of vibrant Scottish traditional music to the town.

Our mantra is that there will be something for all traditional musical tastes at Dunoon TradFest, from FREE acoustic sessions in cafés and coffee shops, to full on ceilidh bands in pubs and restaurants - mixing traditional with contemporary elements.

FESTIVAL CONCERT
This year, our Grand Festival Concert takes place on Saturday 26th September at the Queen's Hall.  We've a top evening of performances, headlined by the amazing Peat & Diesel.  Known for their very relatable songs about island life, their traditional/punk sound has sold out big venues like Glasgow's Barrowlands and they are sure to make Dunoon rock.   

Joining them onstage will be a diverse line-up of talented musicians including rising star Calum MacPhail and The Ramstampits.   Calum's live performances electrify audiences, from the packed tents of Belladrum's grassroots stage, to sold-out shows at Eden Court.  The Ramstampits kick off the evening with a high-energy, "raggle taggle" sound that blends traditional Scottish folk with punk rock, featuring bagpipes, fiddles, and accordion alongside distorted guitars.

Beyond the Grand Festival Concert, the festival also features free gigs, workshops, and informal sessions in cafés and local venues.

Age limit access is 15 and over - under 18 year olds must be accompanied by an adult
