In our new armistice production we present amusing, tragic, and perhaps forgotten stories from the amazing history of Berwickshire at war, from the earliest times until now, as witnessed by Mersia, the eternal spirit of Berwickshire womanhood and main character. 

Guided by Duns historian, Kenny Maclean, nine writers chose different periods to illustrate dramatically. The cast of 14 will bring to life stories from the Viking and Roman invasions, the Anglo/Scots, Regional wars, and World Wars.

We are using a “traverse” stage in order to encourage and help the audience to immerse themselves in these events. You can also purchase a comprehensive programme to enable you to read the historical facts behind the stories.
