Breakfast with the Fire Brigade

We are delighted that the Southend Fire Brigade are hosting our next Double Whammy networking event. Join us for bacon or veggie rolls, fresh fruit, tea, coffee and juice.

This is a business networking event and your opportunity to meet many local businesses. A list of delegates will be sent out before the event to help you maximise your networking.

You will also have the opportunity of taking a guided tour around the fire station. I don't think they'll be any sliding down poles though.........

Double Whammy events also support the local community. The benefiary for this event is Southend Dementai Action Alliance (SDAA.) I am sure many of you will have encountered the trauma of watching a loved one suffering from this terrible disease, so please support this event if you can. There is also an opportunity to make a donation, as below.

Basic tickets to include networking and refreshments are £10.00, with £8 of each ticket sold going to our "charity pot." The morning will be mostly 'freeflow' networking. No elevator pitch required! There will be short presentations but there will not be any raffles, auctions or any other fundraising activities on the day - apart from the "5 for 5" card draw (see below) which is optional.

There are also Banner Tickets available for £18 with £14 going to the charity pot. This delegate ticket will additionally enable you to display a pull-up banner, plus your literature on a shared promo table, plus one free entry in the 5 for 5 draw.

If you are unable to attend but would like to support the fantastic work done by the SDAA, you are invited to make a donation via this system. The system shows a fixed donation amount of £5. You are welcome to zero the donation or change it to any figure you wish. All donations go to the beneficiary without deduction.

'5 for 5' This is totally optional and, apart from this delegates attending will not need any cash. No raffles, no auctions, no pestering you for money! 5 for 5 is basically a lucky dip. You'll put your business card and a fiver in a pot. Every penny of that £5 will go in to the charity pot. One business card will be drawn out and that winner will have the opportunity of giving a five minute presentation about their business to the audience. So be prepared, have a presentation ready to go (but no Powerpoint) - but make sure it is only five minutes. We'll be very strict!
