Level 2: Strategies for Supporting Dyslexic Students
Dyslexia Ireland is thrilled to offer our newly designed Dyslexia Course for Primary Teachers: Level 2. This new Level 2 course builds upon the foundations laid in our Level 1 course. This two day course will take place over 2 Saturdays, 8th and 22nd March 2025 at the Dublin West Education Centre, Tallaght, Dublin D24 PX58.
Dates/Times: This course runs over two Saturdays as follows:
- Saturday 8th March 2025 (10am to 2pm)
- Saturday 22nd March 2025 (10am to 2pm)
Presenters: Donald Ewing (Head of Education and Policy).
Course Fee: A special Early Bird rate of €250 is available for bookings completed by 12pm on 21st February 2025. After that, the price reverts to the normal fee which is €300 per attendee. Places are limited at this course to allow for engagement and discussion amongst participants. We also ask that only one person per school attendees, as we anticipate high demand.
The course fee includes:
- Certificate for 8 hours of professional development.
- Access to the online course resource materials.
- Tea/coffee and sandwiches for all attendees.

Who Should Attend:
- Qualified primary school teachers or special education (learning support/resource) teachers who have attended our Level 1 Primary Teachers' course.
- Teachers who have a solid understanding of evidence-based, systematic literacy instruction who are looking to extend their knowledge and expertise.
- Principals are also welcome to attend.
