Dyslexia Course for FE and HE Educators

Dyslexia Ireland is delighted to confirm that we will be running our Dyslexia Course for FE and HE Educators in November 2025. This online course has been designed in response to discussions with educators and individuals with dyslexia, providing valuable insights into the challenges faced by learners with dyslexia.

Participants will gain a clear understanding of dyslexia, its impact on students, and effective strategies to support their learning. The course emphasises practical approaches that can be applied in educational settings to enhance accessibility and inclusion.

Delivered via Zoom, the course includes engaging presentations and comprehensive supporting materials, which will be provided in advance to enrich the learning experience.

This course is ideal for teaching and learning professionals, disability support staff, senior leadership, and anyone committed to improving inclusion in education.

A certificate of attendance will be awarded to all participants upon completion. Places on this course are limited so early application is advised.

Learning Outcomes:

• Gain a clear understanding of dyslexia.
• Explore effective inclusion strategies for supporting students with dyslexia.
• Identify practical approaches to assist individual students.
• Recognise the effects of dyslexia on mental health and overall well-being.

Time and Date: Wednesday November 12th, 2025, from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

Course Fee: Take advantage of the Early Bird rate of €40 for bookings made by noon on October 1, 2025. After this deadline, the standard fee of €70 per attendee applies.
