Course Fee
A special Early Bird rate of €200 is available for bookings completed by 12 noon on Friday 4th September 2026. After that, the price reverts to the normal fee which is €250 per attendee.
Who should attend this course:
The course is offered to qualified primary school teachers who are registered or eligible for registration with the Teaching Council. The course may be of particular relevance to primary school teachers working in the role of Special Education Teacher.
Key Learning Outcomes:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of what dyslexia is and its impact on learning.
- Explore effective methods for identifying dyslexia.
- Gain insights into evidence-based interventions and accommodations, including assistive technology.
- Understand the connection between dyslexia, self-esteem and wellbeing.
Certificate and Tutor List
A course certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. Qualified teachers who have completed this course may also choose to apply for inclusion on the Dyslexia Ireland tutor lists which are made available to our members.
Accessibility:
This online event will be held on Zoom. Participants have the option to turn on live captioning in the Zoom toolbar - click on the CC icon in the Zoom toolbar. Slides will be shared with registered attendees via a Google drive folder. Due to GDPR and out of respect for other attendees, we ask that individuals do not use any of their own AI transcription, summarising or recording tools during the live session. A video recording will be shared with attendees after the event, and you can use AI transcription tools or summarising tools with that recording.
