Dyslexia Course for FE and HE Educators
Dyslexia Ireland is delighted to confirm that we will be running our Dyslexia Course for FE and HE Educators in November 2026. This online course has been designed as a response to discussions and interactions with educators and individuals with dyslexia.
This course will provide an overview of what dyslexia is and how it impacts students and their learning. There will be a focus on practical strategies to support learners with dyslexia in education.
The course will be delivered live online via Zoom. The presentations and supporting documents will be provided to all participants before the course to enhance their learning experience.
This course will be of particular benefit to teaching and learning professionals, disability support staff, senior leadership, and anyone working on improving accessibility and inclusion initiatives in FE or HE settings.
A course certificate of attendance will be sent to attendees after the event.
Learning Outcomes:
- Develop an understanding of what dyslexia is.
- Understand best practices for inclusion.
- Understand practical support strategies for individual students.
- Consider the impact of dyslexia on mental health and well-being.
Time and Date: 18th of November 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Cost: A special Early Bird rate of €40 is available for bookings made by noon on Friday, 16th October 2026. After that, the price reverts to the normal fee of €70 per attendee.
