Transition to Second Level - FREE Parents' Webinar
The Dyslexia Association of Ireland is delighted to offer a free webinar for parents this August on the Transition to Second Level.
Date: Thursday 19th August 2021 from 7pm to 9pm.
Topics covered will include:
- What is Dyslexia?
- Approaching the transition from primary school to secondary school
- Getting Organised
- Myself as a Learner (focusing on study skills & exam preparation)
- Self-esteem
This webinar aims to:
- Give parents an overview of dyslexia and its impact on the transition from primary to secondary.
- Provide parents with key information to enable them to advocate on behalf of their children.
- Equip parents with practical strategies they can implement to support their children.
Please note that the webinar will be recorded but the Q&A session at the end will not be recorded to enable better participation during that section.
