Tools to support dyslexic challenges

Dyslexia Scotland volunteer, Pat Meach, will walk you through some of the basic tools available on your laptop, tablet and phone and suggest other tools available that could help both with learning and daily life.

Pat has 25 years' experience in learning support in FE colleges, most latterly as a student advisor and in 'needs assessment'. Supporting students in the use of appropriate and helpful technology was central to her role. Pat is herself dyslexic and understands the benefits technology can bring.

Dyslexia Scotland inspires and enables people with dyslexia to reach their potential in life, learning and work. We're working for a dyslexia-friendly Scotland.

We work with dyslexic people to help them learn more about how their brain works and what their strengths are - and we also work with teachers, employers, politicians and other changemakers to help them understand what dyslexia is.

Get involved in making Scotland a dyslexia-friendly country - become a member and join the community.
