Could non-fiction be the key to helping a reluctant reader discover that reading can be enjoyable and achievable?

In this webinar, we’ll explore:

📚Why non-fiction can work particularly well for dyslexic learners and how the right book can support much more than reading practice.

📚Connecting reading to a child’s own interests can help create a genuine reason to read. From football and sport to famous people, animals, nature, science, art and hobbies.

📚Benefits of giving children opportunities to read information that feels relevant to them, rather than expecting every reading experience to involve a traditional story.

📚How short snippets of text, captions, facts, contents pages and bite-sized information can provide valuable opportunities to practise reading without the pressure of reading an entire book.

📚Develop their confidence as a reader, whilst building knowledge.

Join us to discover how the right kind of reading can spark curiosity, build confidence and help dyslexic children of all ages see themselves as readers.
