Rope, photography and live drawing 🎨🪢🏳️‍🌈

Photographer Adrian (@senorbabephotographer) and illustrator Zoey (@art_zoeychang) will be creating art from attendees as they tie. Whether you want to experiment with being photographed, model for a romantic portrait with your partner, or simply explore rope from a different perspective, come and make something beautiful with us.

📸 Photography with Adrian

• Adrian will be offering 10–15 minute mini photoshoots, with 10 edited images per shoot.
• If you'd like to be photographed, you can book a slot as part of your attendance.

✏️ Live Drawing with Zoey

• Zoey will be drawing attendees and rope scenes throughout the afternoon, creating artwork directly from the tying happening in the space.
• You can participate as a model, a rigger or a self-tier — or simply come to enjoy watching the creative process.

❤️ Supporting our queer community with Positive East

We have raised £840 so far for Positive East! 🎉

We're proud to support Positive East, East London's HIV and sexual health charity. HIV has a disproportionate impact on gay, bisexual and other queer communities. Their mission is especially meaningful to us as a queer space.

Positive East provides support, prevention and sexual health services to our local community. You can read more about their work or register for HIV and STI testing. Their friendly team offers in-person testing across East London, including at their building in Stepney Green.

In recognition of the community funding which helped open E13 Playhouse, we're raising £2,000 for Positive East over six months. With your help, we're already more than a third of the way there! 🎗️

🪢 What to wear/bring

• BYOR (Bring Your Own Rope): A limited amount of community rope is available, but we recommend bringing your own.
• Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely — yoga or workout clothes work well.
• Shoes aren't permitted inside the space.

♿ Accessibility

Please note that the event is accessed via 5 flights of stairs, which are narrow and fairly steep.

Known potential allergens in the space include:

• Nuts
