Grab your wellies and prepare those costumes, because Northfields Allotments Halloween Pumpkin Trail is back! Join us on Saturday 26^th October 3pm-7pm and experience the spooky trail through London’s oldest allotments.

This year will be the 8^th in our series of delighting the public with our ghostly garden displays at our horrifying horticultural home. Due to overwhelming demand, this year will once again be a ticket only event.

For the comfort of our visitors and volunteers, we’ll be limiting numbers. To do this we’ll issue timed tickets, which will be sold online for a nominal £1 plus a small booking fee. Visitors under the age of three will go free.

All visitors are invited to buy timed tickets in advance, spreading out visitors across the afternoon. Tickets will not be sold at the event.

The pumpkin trail will be lined with carved pumpkins, creating a unique experience along the centre of the site. You'll pass the witches’ grotto, scarecrows, the old graveyard, the ghosted sheds, ethereal spirits and many other spooky decorations. As darkness falls, the path through the site will be lit up by the pumpkins.

Among other ghoulish treats, there will be a creepy cake stand with tea and coffee, as well as a blood-curdling BBQ and Bar, serving our famous mulled wine!

We’d love to see all of you in your Halloween costumes too!

Dogs are welcome on a lead, but werewolves are asked not to howl in case it disturbs the neighbours.

If you plan to come after 5pm, please bring a torch as some areas of the site will be dark. Last entry will be at 6pm

We do have a buggy park, but we also ask visitors to leave buggies at home if possible as paths are more suited to wheelbarrows.

PLEASE NOTE:  The entrance to the 2024 Pumpkin Trail will start at Occupation Road rather than the middle gates on Northfield Avenue.  To join the queuing system, please enter the Radbourne Walk (passage along the west-handside of the allotment) via Mattock Lane. This is to manage the safety of the queue so it is not along the main road.
