Opening Sacred Space for Creative Practice

Sun Jun 14, 2026 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM PDT Online, Zoom

What if you could protect your creative practice?

What if you could infuse it with ritual?

What if you could hold it sacred?

These are the things we will explore together in this 90-minute workshop.*

Through exercises, conversation, free writes, and whatever arises.

Tiered ticket pricing means you can choose what feels right for you right now: Community, Supporter or Sustainer.

What to bring: Yourself. Some analog writing tools. A song or short piece of music that makes you feel held, sparked, locked in or that you just love. Image or objects you like to keep nearby when you’re creating. But really just yourself is also fine.

E. Amato brings radiant wisdom to her roles as writer, storyteller, curator, editor, filmmaker, facilitator, and plant-based kitchen witch. Three poetry collections, consecutive 5-star shows at the Festival Fringe Edinburgh, plus long-running performance series Down Home (LA, Edinburgh, London, Berlin) are among things E.’s thrilled to have created. E. Amato’s editing work includes Jerry Garcia’s Pushcart-nominated Trumpets in the Sky, Mark Walton’s Frostbitten, and Heather Surl’s poetic memoir of place Beyond the Jordan.

*Recording of the workshop will be available for those unable to attend live.
