Protecting your creativity workshop

Sun Jul 19, 2026 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM PDT Online, Zoom

What if you could protect your creative practice?

What if you make it sacred?

What if you could infuse it with ritual?

Let’s explore together in this 90-minute workshop hrough exercises, conversation, free writes, and whatever arises.

Recording of the workshop will be available for those unable to attend live.

Tiered ticket pricing is a sliding scale that lets you choose what you can afford. I trust that you will choose what’s best for you.

-Sustainer tickets reflect the actual workshop cost.

-If you can’t afford that, then a Community ticket is the more affordable option.

-A Supporter ticket helps others who want to join and supports the work.

If you have questions or cannot afford the Community ticket, please message me.

What to bring: Yourself. Some analog writing tools. A song or short piece of music that makes you feel held, sparked, locked in or that you just love. Image or objects you like to keep nearby when you’re creating. But really just yourself is also fine.

E. Amato brings radiant wisdom to her roles as writer, storyteller, curator, editor, filmmaker, facilitator, and plant-based kitchen witch. Three poetry collections, consecutive 5-star shows at the Festival Fringe Edinburgh, plus long-running performance series Down Home (LA, Edinburgh, London, Berlin) are among things E.’s thrilled to have created. E. Amato’s editing work includes Jerry Garcia’s Pushcart-nominated Trumpets in the Sky, Mark Walton’s Frostbitten, and Heather Surl’s poetic memoir of place Beyond the Jordan.
