EI Student Symposium

The Earlham Institute Student Symposium 2026 has been thoughtfully designed to feature a dynamic schedule of events to engage and inspire, as part of this we will introduce two key note speakers who will share their insights during one hour sessions. 

The day will kick off with registration and a welcome talk, followed by a series of 20-minute presentations from 3rd and 4th-year students.

Additionally, there will be flash poster talks from 2nd-year students and a poster session combined with a Kahoot quiz. This interactive element aims to increase engagement and foster a fun, collaborative atmosphere.

Breaks for coffee, lunch, and networking will provide plenty of opportunities for students to connect with peers and colleagues across the NRP and EI. Our goal is to create a comfortable and relaxed environment where students can confidently present their research. By promoting the event through NBI-all channels and pre-advertising talk titles and topics, we aim to boost attendance and encourage greater interaction among participants.

Please note: This symposium is only open to students and scientists at one of the Norwich Bioscience Institutes (NBI), including the Earlham Institute (EI), the John Innes Centre (JIC), the Sainsbury Laboratory (TSL) and the Quadram Institute (QIB).
