This workshop is part of a series of events we have teamed up with Vitae to deliver, which focus on providing a range of training skills for Early Career Researchers.
Workshop Overview:
This workshop provides an introduction to publishing and peer review for researchers who are less experienced in these areas. It will give an insight into how to prepare academic texts for publication, how to select journals and how to approach the peer review process. The workshop is divided into four sessions. Session one provides the introduction and looks at selecting and targeting journals; session two addresses the planning and preparation for the writing process; session three focuses on peer review, and the final section is an action planning exercise, with the aim that by the end of the workshop participants will have a starting point for further developing their publishing and peer review skills.
