This workshop, is part of a series of events we have teamed up with Vitae to deliver, which focus on providing a range of training skills for Early Career Researchers.
Workshop Overview:
This workshop provides researchers with an opportunity to discover practical, time saving techniques to improve their research project management, from defining a project, through exploring processes used in project management within a research environment, to closing out a project successfully. Participants will learn some basic project management tools that they can apply to their research projects. By the end of the session, participants will:
•Appreciate the skills required to manage a project
•Recognise the project life cycle and its phases
•Understand what is required to successfully complete a project
•Have addressed some of common challenges in project management
