Description
The British Academy Early Career Researcher Network brings together ECRs across the humanities and social sciences disciplines, regardless of their funding source or background.
Please note that in order to book a ticket to attend this event you must be a member of the British Academy Early Career Researcher Network, unless you have been invited directly by one of the event organisers. Event Organiser: University College London
To optimise on the momentum gained at our event on 'Writing for Different Audiences', the BA ECR London cluster in collaboration with UCL has launched a writing group initiative.
This is envisioned to provide space for ECRs to work with others on their writing - this can be your next publication, job applications, grant applications or anything else you fancy!
The event runs from 9am - 5pm but you can join and leave anytime. There will be 3 writing sessions of 2 hours each with lots of breaks. Light lunch, snacks, and tea provided.
If you want to set up your own writing group and need support from us - do reach out and express your interest by completing this form.

9.00 - 9:30: Coffee, introductions, post-it activity, advertise 'writing group vouchers'
9:30- 11.00: BLOCK 1 writing
11.00 - 11.30: break
11.30 - 1:00: BLOCK 2 writing
1.00 - 2.00: lunch break
2.00 - 2.30: advertise 'writing group vouchers', word association writing activity
2.30- 4.00: BLOCK 3 writing
4.00-
5.00: wrap up, post-it feedback, future plans, networking
