The East Coast OGA are excited to welcome you to Harwich for a weekend of socialising, history and the 2026 OGA AGM.

The updated weekend schedule, meals and activities are detailed on the OGA website here 2026 OGA AGM and summarised below. As well as the AGM and dinner, there is loads to do in Harwich whether you join in the organised activities or explore by yourselves.

Outline schedule of events

Friday 30th January

  • During the day - Arrive, settle in and explore
  • 1800ish Welcome Drinks and catch-up at The Alma Inn
  • From 1800 onwards - dinner at Lambards Salt House, next to The Alma - Booking required

Saturday 31st January

  • 1100 Harwich Tours - a repeat of above
  • 1300 - Meet up and  AGM At Harwich Town SailingClub
    • 1300 Bar Opens
    • 1400 Informal Drinks at Harwich Town Sailing Club
    • 1430 OGA Annual General Meeting 2026 at Harwich Town Sailing Club and via Zoom Link
    • 1630ish OGA Annual Prize-Giving and Photgraph Competition at Harwich Town Sailing Club
    • Followed by informal Drinks until 1800
  • 1800 for 1830 Dinner at The Pier Hotel - £35.50 per person, Booking Required

  • 2030 Music, Drinks and Socialising at Harwich Town Sailing Club

Sunday 1st February

    A talk by artist and OGA member Claudia Myatt
  • 1130 Drinks and 'Farewell' Lunch aboard D-Day Landing Craft Kitchen LBK 6
    Harwich & Dovercourt Sailing Club
    £Free, booking requested to assist planning
    There will a cash bar and the buffet will be served for 1200.
