Autumn Fruits in Watercolour and Inks - Susan Neale

Paint the jewel colours of Autumn fruits in Watercolour and Coloured Inks The hedgerow in autumn is an inspiring combination of berries, hips, haws, sloes, leaves and flowers. An ever changing kaleidoscope of colour, abstract textures and patterns. This workshop will help unravel the complexities and simplify the process with a variety of mediums, solutions and skills. We will be working from a selection of berries, leaves and flowers, bringing the hedgerow into the studio! This will encourage us to create our own unique still life arrangements and compositions based on personal choice and preference. A variety of mediums will be available to create texture, such as salt, gesso and clingfilm etc plus pastels, watercolour paint, pencils and acrylic inks for both colour and shine. There will be lots of short demonstrations on how to apply texture and colour plus lots of individual tuition and feedback to guide each student. All levels of ability are welcome. This is a workshop to let your inner artistic voice speak and have lots of creative fun. You will create a stunning series of studies, culminating in one special and unique piece of work inspired by the autumn hedgerows. All levels welcome.
