Europe is the Future; Europe is the solution.

A New World Order? Trump or Europe? Need persuading? Come and share your evening and discover Brendan’s views on a positive future. The political ‘big picture’ is changing drastically, so register for this inspiring talk and see you there!

Please ensure you read the paragraph at the end very carefully.

East Kent for Europe are pleased to host Brendan Donnelly, Leader of the Rejoin EU Party, former Director of the Federal Trust and a former MEP. He has an immense wealth of experience, of connections and insight into a theme which is much in our hearts and minds particularly in these turbulent, horrendous times. He is forever active and is regularly either in an interview (recently with LBC) or interviewing a prominent pro-European politician as on the Federal Trust website. It was founded in 1945 on the initiative of Sir William Beveridge (so, is older than the European Movement), has always had a particular interest in the European Union and Britain’s place in it and has long made a powerful contribution to the study of federalism and federal systems.

Brendan passionately believes very strongly in Britain’s place in the world order: “No ifs or buts. We think Britain’s place is in the EU.” He has been bold, courageous and brave to launch a new Party, even whilst knowing that it is a long haul; for that he is indeed a hero. Discover more about Brendan as an author here.

Uncertain whether to come to the event? Particularly under the present circumstances bold moves are vital and Brendan aims to give us many positive reasons why our place is firmly within the EU.

You may wonder who he is; but ask yourself whether you had heard of Nigel Farage before 1997?

As always, our event is hybrid; in-person and online.

Please read the following paragraph carefully.

Please register NOW/asap, as the venue has given us a deadline of Friday 7 March to decide whether we transfer to a cheaper venue, if we have not covered costs.

Tickets are free but a donation of £5.00/head is required (also for online guests). The reason for entry by donation is that Ticket Tailor charges no fees for Donations; the event is being held to raise funds for future projects to support young people going to Brussels or Strasbourg and for our local group.

You will receive any reminders, final details and the ZOOM LINK nearer the time of the event.
