The coast of Prestonpans, Cockenzie, Port Seton and Longniddry is susceptible to climate impacts. Sea level rise and storms such as Storm Éowyn and Storm Arwen are set to increase under climate change, which will increasingly affect beach access, harbours, roads and buildings in the area.

In order to plan to avoid the worst climate impact risks, we need to understand the impacts of climate impacts on our local coastline.

Everyone is invited to come to this event run by Sustainable PSG and the East Lothian Climate Hub where together we will share and explore coastal climate impacts that are already being seen in PSG. We will hear from local individuals who have been observing changes to the coastline, explore the key coastal impacts that will affect our communities and think about some of the solutions we can take.
