Interactive climate literacy training: FRESK

Would you like to build confidence in talking about the science behind climate change? Or to think through actions that can be taken with others across East Lothian?  

Join East Lothian Climate Hub team and take part in an in-person Climate Fresk training.  In just 3 hours, the collaborative Climate Fresk workshop teaches about the fundamental science behind climate change and empowers people to take action. This is a science-based, participatory and collaborative workshop that teaches participants the causes and consequences of climate change through a card game, based on IPCC reports. We will be running this training to review the suitability of this type of workshop for different contexts in East Lothian and if it's seen to be useful look to build a team of local facilitators.  If you'd be interested in becoming a facilitator, this would be a first step in the process; or you may just want to experience the workshop with other interested people and feedback on your experience.  All welcome - those new to climate change and interested to learn more; and those wanting to build their confidence, knowledge or skills to support others.
