ELCAN Winter Gathering: Sea buckthorn & reels!

As we inch towards winter, Christmas and Yule once more, we warmly invite you to our ELCAN winter gathering. This will include a wee ceilidh and the Sea Buckthorn initiative talking about their products foraged in East Lothian! 

Sea Buckthorn initiative

Kirstie and Mags from the amazing Sea Buckthorn initiative will join us to tell us about their foraging and berry processing work, the beautiful history of sea buckthorn in the area and globally, and the benefits of their elixirs. Mini-ceilidh

This will be followed by a mini-ceilidh and knees up! You can either get involved or have a laugh watching others bump into each other! We will have a caller as well who will talk us through the dances in case you need a wee bit of guidance. Kate Young, will be joining us again for the ceilidh with her fellow musician Jed who will be the caller. View Kate's music here: https://kateyoungmusic.com/

Barbarella Beets festive delights

Barbarella Beets will be providing food for the evening, which will be a mix of festive veggie and vegan delights. We are in for a treat with their cooking!

The venue is accessible. We will take photos. If you dont want your photo taken, please let us know in advance or on the night.
