East Midlands Critical Care Network Annual Conference

The EMCCN Annual Conference returns on Thursday 5 November 2026, at Derby County Football Club, Pride Park Stadium. This full-day event brings together critical care professionals from across the region for a dynamic programme of learning, collaboration, and innovation.

Highlights include expert-led sessions on rehabilitation, quality service improvement (QSI) and a network update, alongside a powerful patient story offering valuable lived-experience insight. The popular lightning round also returns, showcasing rapid presentations from across the network. 

In the afternoon, delegates can take part in a range of interactive workshops, covering topics such as organ donation optimisation, mental health, security in healthcare settings and delirium. These sessions are designed to encourage discussion, share best practice, and support multidisciplinary learning.

With dedicated time for networking throughout the day, including breaks and lunch, the conference provides an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues and partners from across the region. The day concludes with closing remarks and a chance to reflect on key learning and achievements across the network.
