Join us for the annual EMMTN Conference on Wednesday 4 November 2026, at Derby County Football Club, Pride Park Stadium. This full-day event brings together professionals from across the major trauma pathway, including doctors, nurses, therapists, emergency clinicians, and pre-hospital and rehabilitation teams.
The programme features a range of insightful sessions, including a network update, expert discussions on paediatric trauma and communication, human factors and maternal trauma and violence against women and girls. These sessions aim to share learning, strengthen practice, and highlight key priorities across the trauma network.
Delegates can take part in a series of interactive workshops, covering topics such as living with a traumatic brain injury, managing multiple trauma patients and major incident response, mental health in trauma care and acute spinal injury management. These workshops provide practical, case-based learning and encourage multidisciplinary discussion.
Afternoon highlights include a lightning round of presentations, showcasing innovation and improvement work from across the network, followed by poster prizes and special recognition awards celebrating excellence and contribution.
With dedicated time for networking throughout the day including scheduled breaks and lunch, the conference offers valuable opportunities to connect, collaborate, and share best practice with colleagues from across the region.
