"What Makes You Happy?"
Art Exhibition at East Quay for students of local schools

A fun, free exhibition for schools in West Somerset to take part in. The theme is “What makes you happy?” Each student is asked to create a 15cm x 15cm artwork on a canvas we provide, using any materials they choose.

We also offer a resource to help spark ideas and inspire students in developing their artwork. The finished pieces will be displayed in Studio 10 at East Quay over the summer holidays, open daily from 10am–5pm.

We will provide one 15cm x 15cm canvas for each participating student. As several of our staff live across West Somerset, we can try to arrange a drop-off service for the canvases, as well as a collection service once the work is complete. Alternatively, you are very welcome to collect the canvases from the front desk at East Quay, open 9am–5pm.

Please also note we will not be using students names in the exhibition but only the names of the schools that will be taking part in the project. 

Key Dates of the project:
Canvas available for collection or drop off between: Tuesday 12th May 2026 - Friday 26th June 2026
Submit all the artwork by: Friday 10th July 2026
Exhibition opening: Friday 17th July 2026
Exhibition closing: Tuesday 1st September 2026
