Join us for this walking workshop, on Saturday 28th November, to explore different ways of sensing and relating to waste, water and the other than human world. The session is aimed at creative practitioners and researchers of all kinds, who have an interest in watery ecologies.

We will embark on a series of creative exercises to deepen and diversify our sensory and imaginative grasp of the landscape. These may employ listening, smell, movement, image making and writing, exploring the Washford River, Mineral Line and nearby wastewater treatment works.

Part of this workshop will involve walking a route that is approximately 2 miles, and weather depending will involve some creative exercises working outside. The route is flat and accessible and we will do our best to meet participants’ access needs. Please contact Millie at millie@containsart.co.uk if you have any questions.
