Watchet Film Screening & Discussion

What is happening with climate and nature, and what does it mean for everyday life in Watchet?
Join us for a free screening of the People's Emergency Briefing.
Nearly 5000 screenings across the UK already, more happening everyday!

What is it

A powerful 50-minute film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and why it matters for things like:

🌧️ Extreme weather
🍞 Food security
🏥 Health
💷 Cost of living

The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK.

After the film there will be optional smaller group discussions about what this means for everyday life here in Watchet, along with information on the practical actions we can all take to support nature and create positive change close to home.
