Sculpture Workshop with Melanie Deegan

This is a one day workshop to create a small finished sculpture using wire, acrylic resin and mixed media. No previous experience is required and the day will be suitable for all levels of ability.

The workshop will begin by looking at the design you would like to use as inspiration for your sculpture, this will be sketched in 3D using wire to create the armature or framework for the sculpture. The piece will continue to be developed with additional wire, resin, materials and a plaster base if required. A range of colours can be added to the resin and it is possible to make work in almost any shade or mix of colours.

Do bring ideas if you have them or reference material will be available if you need assistance choosing a subject. All tools and materials provided.
