Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Champions Awards Event

ESCC Public Health team would like to welcome you to the IPC Champions Awards Event in recognition of your commitment as IPC Champions following completion of the IPC Champions training in 2024 - 2025.

This invitation is open to the IPC Champion and manager for your setting.

We hope it will be a great learning and networking opportunity for you and we look forward to celebrating your commitment to IPC in your workplaces!

The event programme includes:

• SECAmb – What is the role of the IPC champion within SECAmb and what information to give when making a 999 call to support staff and achieve better outcomes for your residents.
  
• Catheter Care and Standards from Penny Whitling, Senior Urology Clinical Nurse.
  
• Wellbeing at Work Programme - Healthy Workplace Programme Co-ordinator, ESCC Public Health.
  
• An interactive World Café activity with the opportunity for discussion and networking.
• Presentation of certificates to all IPC Champions and settings who completed the training in April 2024 - March 2025.

There will also be a Market Place where you will be able to find out about relevant opportunities from a range of interactive information and displays.

IMPORTANT:

• Places are limited up to 2x per setting.
• You will need to book 1 place per attendee to ensure we have correct numbers. Capacity is limited so book your place to avoid missing out!
