Want to find out what being a councillor really means? Why not sign up for East Sussex County Council's 'Be a Councillor' event?
Register for our Be a Councillor event to find out more about East Sussex County Council, what’s involved in being a county councillor and for a chance to speak to existing councillors about their work.
What matters to you in your local area? Is it local issues such as education, care for vulnerable people, safer roads, or ensuring that local businesses can thrive? Whatever needs changing in your local area, you could be the person to change it by standing for election as a county councillor.
This event will provide you with plenty of information about what it means to be a county councillor. You will have the opportunity to hear from current councillors and ask them questions about what being a county councillor really means.
This will be a hybrid event and participants can attend in person at County Hall, Lewes, or you can join virtually via Microsoft teams.

Tickets to this event are free but are limited so please make sure you register for your free ticket by the 30 September.
