Insights into individuals who commit acts of online child sexual abuse

This training session will provide an overview on the different types of online child sexual abuse and its prevalence, as well as provide an understanding of the reasons why adults engage in sexually abusive behaviour online, and what factors may be relevant when considering future risk, both online and offline. The session will also highlight what considerations need to be taken into account when developing safety plans, as well as identify support services individuals and families can be signposted to following the discovery of online sexual abuse.
