To elevate business and the economy, we must question their basic assumptions. From a systems perspective, cooperation and reciprocity are more productive than competition. Restricting access to innovation through intellectual property is also counter-productive to general well-being

REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

1. Are we really selfish, aggressive and competitive by nature?
   
2. What difference would it make if companies cooperated rather than competed?
   
3. Should we own knowledge and information for profit, or distribute it for general well-being?
