ebbf learning circles - The Cooperation Economy, with Arthur Dahl
Tue 30 Apr 2024 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM CEST
Online, Zoom
Description
As ebbf's annual conference sold out over two months ago, ebbf is offering you the opportunity to be part of one of the useful learning experience around one of the themes we will cover at the annual learning event.
You have the opportunity to interact with and ask annual conference speaker Arthur Dahl about his views on the topic he will be offering in Lisbon.
The main theme of the annual conference is:
HOW CAN WE ELEVATE BUSINESS & THE ECONOMY TO SERVE HUMANITY?
And within that broad theme, you can interact with Arthur Dahl on the specific theme he has decided to cover:
THE COOPERATION ECONOMY
RATIONALE:
To elevate business and the economy, we must question their basic assumptions. From a systems perspective, cooperation and reciprocity are more productive than competition. Restricting access to innovation through intellectual property is also counter-productive to general well-being
REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
- Are we really selfish, aggressive and competitive by nature?
- What difference would it make if companies cooperated rather than competed?
- Should we own knowledge and information for profit, or distribute it for general well-being?
