Māh Ze Tār & Elias Alexander (Ramblxr) at the Cedarwood Barn

Sat Mar 14, 2026 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Cedarwood Barn, 97540

You're invited to a very special night of world-bridging. The musical expressions of the East & the West merge, as does live music & electronic dance rhythms. These two artists offer a similar resonance of cultural appreciation and expression stemming from their own unique cultural roots. And while their intentions and dedication to learning music classically are similar, their sounds and offerings are absolutely unique to who they are as musical artists.

✨🌿🔊🌿✨

The Artists:

Elias Alexander (Ramblxr)

Elias Alexander is a rare performer who combines live looping and electronics with a wide variety of instruments from bagpipes to fiddle, guitar, whistle and keys. With deep roots in traditional Scottish and American music, but a boundless appetite for possibility, rhythm, and expression, Elias takes audiences on a mind blowing journey through traditional tunes, original songs, and danceable fun.

Producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer Elias Alexander blends traditional Celtic sounds with EDM, alchemizing original and ancient material, live looping, and driving beats into journeys of belonging, connection, and celebration.

Having studied bagpipes, fiddle, whistles, and guitar from a young age, Elias has found a way to weave his traditional music background into modern sounds, creating a blend that feels timeless, crossing generations while remaining deeply personal and authentic.

Since emerging onto the scene in 2022, Elias has built a loyal following of over 115K humans across Instagram and Tik Tok, with viral videos that have captured millions of views and attention around the globe, leading to international tours and 29 festival appearances in 2025.

Elias’s shows feel like a mixture of ritual and pure silliness, uniting the pure joy of dance music and the communal ritual of singing and moving together, all built around his unique ability to connect with a crowd.

Māh Ze Tār

Māh Ze Tār is propelled by the vision of fusing traditional eastern music with modern electronic composition as a form of cultural preservation. Each Māh Ze Tār set is uniquely dynamic- The listener can expect to hear the ancient sounds of the Sitar and Oud in one song and the timeless melodies of the Ney and Duduk in the next- bringing a kaleidoscope of emotions through the wide plethora of ancient sounds, mesmerizing vocals, and hypnotic beats.

The sounds of distant lands are served on a platter of familiar body moving bass lines and thumping grooves. Māh Ze Tār is an active performing member of Balkan Bump and has had significant musical collaborations with Desert Dwellers, David Starfire, Jef Stott, Morillo, Akriza, Nyrus, Adham Shaikh, and many others. Notable performances- Red Rocks, Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Gem & Jam, Joshua Tree, Lucidity, Symbiosis, Oregon Eclipse, Burning Man, Oregon Country Fair, Haurkaze Tokyo Festival amongst many others.

Human Behind the Project-

Maz Karandish is a Devotee of music- A well traveled vocalist & multi-instrumentalist covering grounds from Rāga, Maqām, and Dastgāh to Harmony, Jazz, and Opera. Maz feels deeply connected to the ancient musical traditions of the east that he began learning at a very young age. As an Ethnomusicologist and a practicing Psychologist, he has come to recognize that people in his generation have an easier time engaging with traditional music when it’s integrated with familiar rhythmic and sonic environments. Maz devotes his musical time to exploring the possible weaving of Indian, Persian, Greek and Turkish music with modern soundscapes. He is currently most interested in the integration of Indian Dhrupad and Persian Tahrir singing with electronic composition.
