World Record Status Double WA 720
Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th September 2024
Rounds :
WA 720 70m/ 60m/ 50m (also Juniors shooting the Metric 122-50 [U16 / U16] round):
Faces :
Recurve / Longbow : 122cm face at 70m , 10 zone scoring. 12 dozen arrows
Recurve / Longbow (50+ / Cadet) : 122cm face at 60m , 10 zone scoring, 12 dozen arrows
Compound : individual 80cm faces at 50m, 6 zone scoring, 12 dozen arrows
Barebow : 122cm face at 50m, 10 zone scoring, 12 dozen arrows
(Please be aware, entrants that compete in the 50+ category will not be included in the national rankings)
- Shooting will be on layered foam bosses,
- 4 archers per boss, shooting in two details.
- Faces to be marked. There will be ‘double scoring’.
- WA timing (10 sec & 4 min) Shooting will be controlled by Chronotir timing system.
Schedule :
- Registration at 08:30
- Equipment and assembly check will start at 09:00,
- Two ends of practice and then straight into the competition at 09:30,
Lunch will be after the first scoring 6 dozen followed immediately by the second 6 dozen
There will be no additional practice after the lunch break
Awards :
Awards will be presented at the end of each day awarded depending on entries
Awards will be bracketed for each gender, bow style and the chosen age category entered
An additional award for the best score in each category of the two days combined will be awarded after the Sunday Session.

Event Information :
- Shooting will be under Archery GB rules.
- All entrants must be members of Archery GB or a World Archery affiliated organisation.
- Dress regulations must be conformed to AGB rule 307

Drugs :
- The competitors at this record status shoot will be liable for drug testing and those approached to give samples must comply; if they refuse, that refusal will be treated as a positive result.
- Juniors must have a parent or legal guardian sign the entry form to signify consent for their child being tested if approached.
Payment
Entries will cost £16 per day for adults, £12 per day for under 18s
A discount rate for archers wanting to shoot both days is available
(£28 for adults, £20 for under 18s)
