Ecofluency Exposed: ask me anything about Nature communication!

This event is a fundraiser for the N|om gathering: Midwives of the Earth, in August 2025.

The way I share Nature communication through Ecofluency helps people access the deeper knowledge and wisdom of Nature that is not often available to our everyday human minds, so that you can inform your everyday practical decisions and be truly co-creative and more in harmony with all of Life.
But I've always loved the questions that people have about this work, because it brings me new perspectives!

Have you ever had questions about Ecofluency or Nature communication that you haven't asked before? This is your opportunity!
Examples of questions might be: How trees perceive us?  Do dragons and fairies exist (spoiler alert: they do, but not how you'd expect them to)?  What about extra-terrestrials?  And can we communicate with our bodies, like our organs or our gut microbiome?  What does the Earth want from us?  How can Nature communication change our lives? What role does ritual and ceremony play in Nature communication?

In this an open online event, you're invited to ask my ANYTHING you want about this field, and I'll answer as fully and honestly as I can from my experience. This is for anyone who is interested in the broad field of Nature dialogue, or anyone who practices it already. This includes communication with animals, plants, insects, microbes, water, rocks, land, ancestors, nature spirits or other non-human aspects of Nature.

If the questions don't fill the time, I'll just share some of the most far-out stories from my Nature communication journey of 13 years, so it'll still be useful, or at least entertaining!

Why is Nature communication so important?

We are all born with the ability to deeply communicate with Nature in some way - we are Nature - many of us have just forgotten how to use it. So because it's in our very nature of being, it's easier to reawaken than you might expect!

But why is it important that more of us remember how to do it, especially now?

It is a critical skill, not only for survival, but for growing beyond resilience, into a state of thriving, for people from all walks of life.

It is a vital resource for physical, mental & emotional healing & health, happiness, abundance and harmony, in our relationships with humans and non-humans.

In my academic research, professional life, personal practice and my ongoing work with Ecofluency, I have seen and experienced the benefits of using it to inform and make more holistic practical decisions. This can be for anything, such as understanding health issues, growing food in your garden, choosing a new place to live, how to expand your work in ecological alignment and healing old wounds and traumas to grow spiritually and become whole.

It is a powerful experience when people remember that humans are Nature and that they are never alone (even when we feel lonely). It is wonderful when they realise that they can (and should) communicate with the rest of Nature, and feel a sense of belonging that they may not have felt before.

Most importantly, it’s become more urgent than ever that we know how to evolve through and beyond this chaos and co-create our future in true alignment with Nature.

Saskia von Diest, PhD - founder, consultant and facilitator of Ecofluency.

I have 13 years experience in communicating with Nature, and longer than that in teaching and facilitation using various forms and in many countries. My passion is creating opportunities for individuals and groups to connect and communicate with Nature’s healing power and practical wisdom.

My PhD is in plant pathology, and my background is in postdoctoral research on how intuitive interspecies communication is used in agriculture to inform practical management decisions. I've also trained in Family Constellations, and in the Way of the Warrior Healer for psychic surgery.

I founded Ecofluency in 2021, to consult, teach, and facilitate Nature communication experiences, for individuals, groups and organisations, and to promote other voices in this field: ecofluency.org.

This online event is at 18:00-19:30 (6-7:30pm) BST on Tues 15 July 2025. The Zoom link will be sent out the day before the event begins.
