Cacao & Ecstatic Dance: A Journey Into the Heart of Movement
In a warm, sacred space, we connect with ceremonial Cacao, bridging stillness and movement. Its deep aroma grounds us, while each mindful sip softens the mind and opens the heart, preparing us for Ecstatic Dance.
Rooted in ancient traditions, Cacao—known as the ‘Food of the Gods’—has been used for centuries in healing, meditation, and spiritual connection. This heart-opening plant medicine promotes relaxation, mental clarity, and uplifting energy. Through guided meditation, breathwork, and intention-setting, we create space for emotional release, joy, and creativity.
The Benefits of Cacao
Heart-Opening & Emotional Release – Boosts serotonin and dopamine, easing access to deeper emotions.
Mental Clarity & Focus – Theobromine provides a gentle, jitter-free energy boost.
Connection & Intuition – Enhances inner awareness and connection with others.
Embodiment & Movement Flow – Encourages free, authentic movement.
Cacao gently activates the nervous system, bringing warmth, clarity, and connection. As movement flows effortlessly, self-consciousness fades, and expression deepens. We end in stillness, feeling grounded and free.
Join us for Cacao & Ecstatic Dance, where movement becomes meditation, unlocking your most authentic self.
How to Prepare
✅ Hydration – Drink water before and after.
✅ Light Eating – Have a small plant-based meal 2–3 hours beforehand.

Ecstatic Dance
Ecstatic Dance connects people to themselves and each other, free from the distractions of speech, alcohol, or substances. It’s a unique, uninhibited form of movement—without set steps or instructions—inviting you to surrender to the rhythm and discover your natural flow.
We create a safe space that encourages authentic self-expression and builds confidence to dance freely. Movement can be deeply healing, helping to release tension, break habitual patterns, and restore balance. Guided by music, the journey flows through peaks and stillness, mirroring the rhythm of life.
Expect a rich blend of genres, from tribal and electronic to ambient and beyond. Whether dancing alone or connecting with others, you’re free to move in a way that feels right in the moment. Ecstatic Dance is open to all, regardless of age (14+), background, or experience.
Important Info
Ecstatic Dance is a non-verbal practice—communication through body language is welcome, but conversations should be kept outside the space until the music ends. To maintain focus and inclusivity, events are free from drugs, alcohol, and phone use—please switch off your phone upon arrival. Respecting personal space is essential, and participants are asked to take responsibility for themselves while being mindful of others. Photography is not permitted to protect attendees' privacy. Our events are open to ages 14 and over, with those aged 14-17 required to attend with an adult.
Love & light,
Matthew & Jules
