Come and celebrate the release of new book ‘Eden: A Portrait of Mountain Biking in Aotearoa New Zealand’ in Queenstown!
Eden is a stunning collection of mountain bike photography and essays capturing the growth of this young sport in one of the youngest countries in the world. This book is for daydreaming and for inspiring bucket list adventure-making in the mountain bike paradise of New Zealand. Featuring the photography of Sven Martin, Callum Wood, Graeme Murray, Cam Mackenzie, Henry Jaine, Jay French and many more. With essay contributions by Robin Goomes, Casey Brown, Conor MacFarlane, Remy Morton and more. Edited by Nick Stevenson and published by Thames&Hudson.
To celebrate the release of the book, a Limited Author’s Edition is available on the night and evening showcase including a slideshow and Q+A session featuring the editor and some of the photographers from the book. Generously hosted at the Patagonia Queenstown store with refreshments supplied by B.effect Brewing. $10 from every book sold is donated back to local trail building efforts in partnership with Forward Whakatipu and QMTBC.
Eden is the brainchild of filmmaker and producer at Hunt Cinema, Nick Stevenson. Having worked with many of the best photographers and athletes in mountain biking the past decade, the book was a way to bring together all these talented people’s work. Creating an inspiring book to showcase the sport and celebrate the incredible trails and terrain we have in New Zealand.
RSVP your ticket below, come along and pick up a copy of Eden for yourself or the perfect gift heading into the holiday season and help contribute back to Queenstown's trails in the process.
