The Myth Maker: Rewriting Nature's Stories - Workshop 1
Tue 18 Feb 2025 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Baxter Park Pavilion, DD4 7HH
Description
Eden Project, The Art and Nature Collective, and RSPB Scotland are collaborating to deliver a storytelling-based workshop based on the journey of a seed floating down the Tay, imagining its adventures, growth and future.
Write a short story about the seed's journey, imagining where it might go and what it might see in the future. Then, fold the paper over your story so that only the last line or two is visible. Pass it on to the next person, who will continue the story and fold the paper again. Continue this process until you reach the end of the paper. Finally, The Myth Maker will reveal the story you have created together.
An artist will take the stories and create a beautifully illustrated booklet, which will be made available after the event.
We will taking a 'wild' walk to inspire and spark your imagination, so wrap up well.
There will be two workshops taking place on the day:
Workshop 1 - 11:00 - 12:30
Workshop 2 - 13:30 - 15:00
Lunch will be available for all participants in between each workshop.
This event is free, all you have to do is book your ticket for the workshop you wish to attend.
